2010 World Glaucoma Week is March 7-13
Have you ever imagined what life would be like if you couldn’t see? What about if you could see, but images didn’t appear as they once did? Take a moment and really imagine it. March 8-14, 2010 is World Glaucoma Week. Organizations such as All Eyes on Glaucoma (www.alleyesonglaucoma.com) encourage people throughout the week to learn about eye health and the importance of regular, comprehensive eye exams. We must take action this month to ensure everyone in our life is receiving regular eye exams. It is also important to know the risk factors. Age and family history play a big role. People of African descent also have a higher risk than others.
