Thank God for plugins! Found a post that walked me through WordPress 2.7 upgrade.

This post is not standard content for me, but as I try get my bearings hosting this site without all of the free point and click features I had on wordpress.com’s completely free blogging setup, I am forever grateful when I encounter sites with easy to follow instructions.

This morning I upgraded to WordPress 2.7 using a plugin and detailed directions from Luke Gedeon’s blog.

I am using Bluehost and migrated my content over from worpress.com to wordpress.org using Fantastico which does not include the latest version of WordPress in its own scripts.  I’m at the point where figuring out EVERYTHING is driving me nuts, so Luke’s post was a Godsend.
