(New York, NY: October 25, 2009) Celebrity guests gathered at the exclusive Soho restaurant, Via dei Mille for the 2010 Annual PINK for a Purpose Dinner to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. This invitation-only dinner party and charity fundraising event was conceived by model/actress Liris Crosse, Priscilla Monteiro of The Fashion Reporter, and Zari Gomez of MATRIX GROUP LLP and brought together celebrities from the worlds of music, fashion and sports to raise funds for a worthy cause.
Model/Actress Liris Crosse opened the event full of emotion and tearfully thanked guests in attendance and shared how the three hosts for the evening came up with the concept for the event as an annual opportunity to give back during their joint birthday month of October and raise funds for an amazing cause. Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cure.
