No, you are ridiculous. While I agree that sometimes stats are skewed to make a situation seem more urgent. Saying that the tables are tipped by a "government abated propaganda" makes it seems as though the conclusion you get from the overall documentary (humans are severely damaging the earth) is false. Which, I'd hope, anyone that would consider themselves intelligent (never mind an environmental engineer)would agree with.

Ridiculous, as an Environmental Engineer not only am I disgusted by reviews or documentaries like these, I feel like the tables are tipped, government abated propaganda, live with less, hate yourself, get ready to get your clothes taxed out of you.

If this is not a wake up call I am afraid we / our children will not have the opportunity to make that judgement if we do not act soon. No I don't advocate a dooms day scenario but look at the facts. Not only are the facts pointing towards rapid global warming but we are witnessing more global distress due to global warming and population expansion. Instead of reacting negative, do your own research from reputable sources. It would seem that starting a world grass root social movement that generated positive and viable ideas on changing our current dependency on fossil fuels to a more sustainable energy world could bring about a saner,wiser,healthier society. We need to start realizing that substituting high fuel energy activities with a balanced sustainable energy lifestyle can bring about a world that is more humane and compassionate towards each others potential survival. Some outcomes and ideas that can be implemented would be more time with our children, family and friends instead of long computes that rob us of a community life. Our jobs can provide us with more time to walk to work or one day off a week and the the 5th day working from home. Creativity and change can be a positive outcome of this global crisis. The stresses and health toll that our current lifestyle is expressing in our world should be enough to say "stop this nonsense now". Students in High School to Graduate School are feeling more stress and the evidence shows that they experience more depression than ever before. It is time to realize that our current lifestyle is not serving us. I don't usually feel compelled to write a comment on a website but after watching this documentary that thoughtfully summerizes the series of events of global warming, I couldn't help myself. If you have any positive social actions and would like to share them, it would be lovely to hear from you.

@Cynthia- hope you enjoyed it.

@Olga- I don't know who you mean by "you" but I'll assume you mean "you" plural. Sometimes it takes showing an extreme condition to push people into action. How many times at work do our bosses give us seemingly impossible goals or you give your team stretch goals? History repeats itself, and we still haven't learned.

When will you learn....back in the 70's all sorts of negative documentaries described food shortages, over population, the end of the world....can't you ever see the positive side of life and life will prevail....how can you show such nonsence. No one can predict the future....never mind a bunch of journalists looking for ratings.....Give me a break?...I am 57 years old and fed up with your so called documentaries of the future.....Who knows?...Stop using the scare tactic!
