Although Feature Film “I USED TO LOVE HER” will be featured in Kaboom Magazine’s April edition why did the film clash with another a mainstrean magazine editor.

Simee Smith, a famous Pop Singer, has lost her way in the music industry. When she falls in love with a regular guy, she feels there may be hope. But sometimes your past comes back to haunt you.

I Used To Love Her” has stirred controversy before for it’s controversial dialogue that takes shots at Larry Elder, Black Athletes, Black religious leaders and politicians. So,we weren’t surprised after speaking to a mainstream editor who refused to do an article on our film based off their “personal feelings.”

I Used To Love Her” has been featured in the Chicago Defender, BET and Black PR Wire who supported the film by running the trailer on their site for a year …so, the question is WHY IS THIS EDITOR TRIPPING?!

According to editor here’s the BEEF:

In the film “I Used To Love Her” supporting actress Tyra played by Sheree Bynum says to her girlfriends…and I quote “you know that most rappers are homosexuals.” It’s as if we dropped an atomic bomb, but, this must not be just dialogue in the movie.

The editor goes on with their concerns.

In “I Used To Love Her” actor Mel Roberson says to his buddies “you know America wasn’t designed for Black people to succeed.” The actor Lil Responds “what about African-Americans.” The editor asked me what’s up with that and if we’re saying there’s a difference between Black and African America – (STUPID QUESTION!!!)

I explained to this editor that yes I do believe there’s a difference between Black and African American and went on to explain the difference and after my explanation well they had to pass on doing the article. Well, this is life!

So, let’s give thanks to Kaboom Entertainment and Black Girl In Chicago and the many other TV Networks, Newspapers, Magazines, Blog sites and radio shows who have been showing us love. So, is “I Used To Love Her” too conscious for mainstream thinkers.

The release of the film is COMING SOON!
